BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women's swimming & diving team cruised to a 175-46 victory over visiting Bridgewater State University on Wednesday afternoon at the RWU Aquatics Center.
The Hawks, who placed first in 11 of 12 events, improve to 2-0 in dual meet competition on the season, while the Bears fall to 2-5.
Junior Haley Nolan (Lowell, Mass.) picked up the lone win for Bridgewater State as she captured top honors in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:01.54.
Sophomore Mackenzie Coogan (Assonet, Mass.) added a second place showing in the 50 freestyle for the Bears as she posted a time of 26.29 seconds.
In upcoming action, the BSU swimming & diving teams host Gordon College on Saturday afternoon at one.
