Rechtiene, Lamarre Pace Women's Swimming & Diving at Bentley

WALTHAM, Mass. -- The visiting Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team dropped a 151-123 decision to Division II Bentley University on Thursday evening at the Dana Center Pool. 

The host Falcons improve to 7-4 in dual meet competition, while the Bears fall to 4-7.

BSU senior Sarah Rechtiene (Southbury, Conn.) captured top honors in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 12:05.68.  Rechtiene was also the second to touch the wall in the 200 breaststroke (2:41.68).

Senior diver Elizabeth Lamarre (Dartmouth, Mass.) posted the third highest score in the three-meter diving competition with a total of 220.10 points.  Lamarrer also placed fourth on the one-meter board with a score of 203.30 points.

Freshman Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:02.17.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday afternoon at one when they travel to Eastern Connecticut State University for a tri-meet featuring Regis College and the host Warriors.
