BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College junior Jennifer Jackson has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Diver of the Week for her performance against Keene State College last Wednesday night. Jackson set a new BSC women's diving record as she registered a score of 277.35 points in the three-meter competition, surpassing Kristine Soen's previous school mark of 270.45 points set back in 1998. 

Anative of Randolph, Massachusetts, Jackson placed first in both the one-meter (221.48 pts) and three-meter diving events for the eighth consecutive meet.  Jackson's previous high water mark on the three-meter board this season came at home against Wheaton College on January 17th as she posted a score of 236.15 points.

The last BSC athlete to earn ECAC Diver of the Week honors was Andy Fuccillo during the 2002-2003 season.
