Alana Vincent Named MASCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior forward Alana Vincent has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

Vincent tallied a goal and assisted on the game-winner in the Bears’ 2-0 shutout victory over Emmanuel College this past weekend. The Taunton, Massachusetts product also recorded five of the team’s nine shots on goal in the win over the Saints.

In 46 games over four seasons with the Bears, Vincent has amassed 18 goals and seven assists for 43 points. Five of her 18 markers have been game-winners.

Vincent has earned MASCAC Player of the Week honors three times in her career. She was also an All-MASCAC First Team selection as a freshman in 2016 and garnered All-MASCAC Second Team accolades in 2018.

The BSU women’s soccer team is currently 1-3 on the young season. The Bears entertain Salve Regina University on Wednesday afternoon at 4:30.
