Alana Vincent Named MASCAC Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University sophomore forward Alana Vincent has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week. Vincent shares the honor along with sophomore midfielder Casey McFall of Salem State University.

A native of Taunton, Massachusetts, Vincent tallied a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the Bears' 5-0 shutout victory on the road over MASCAC foe Framingham State University this past weekend.

In eight games this season, Vincent has produced four goals and four assists for 12 points. She is tied for the MASCAC lead in assists and is tied for second in the conference in scoring and tied for fifth in goals.

In 27 games over her first two seasons with the Bears, Vincent has amassed ten goals and five assists for 25 points. Three of her ten career goals have been game-winners.

The BSU women's soccer team is currently 4-4 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears travel to UMass Dartmouth on Thursday night for a seven o'clock non-conference game with the Corsairs.
