WORCESTER, Mass. -- Sophomore Henry Oberlander (Mansfield, Mass.) placed sixth in the 184-pound weight class at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Northeast Regional Championships hosted by WPI on Sunday.
Oberlander went 3-3 at the two-day regional tournament. On Sunday, he opened the day with a 10-5 decision over Justin Montgomery of Plymouth State University to advance to the consolation semifinals. He then lost by technical fall (17-0) to Connor Humphries of Roger Williams University and dropped a 9-3 decision to Sebastian Dziadkiewicz of Williams College in the fifth place match.
Oberlander wrapped up the 2017-2018 campaign with an overall record of 23-11 (.676).
The Bears finished in 15th place in the team standings with 12.5 points.
