Paul Dubois Wrestling Classic Cancelled

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Paul Dubois Wrestling Classic, which was to take place at Bridgewater State College on Saturday, has been cancelled due to icy road conditions in the Northeast and in the Mid-Atlantic area.

The inaugural tournament was in organized this year to honor the former Bridgewater State Movement Arts professor and ardent wresting supporter who passed away in October of 2006 after a lengthy battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

The tournament was to showcase some of the top Division III teams in the Northeast. Johnson & Wales University and Springfield College along with host Bridgewater State from the New England area were to compete on Saturday.  Joining them were Lycoming College, York College, and University of Scranton out of Pennsylvania, McDaniel College from Maryland, and SUNY Cortland out of New York.
