Elizabeth Ettridge Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District® One Women’s At-Large Team

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University junior midfielder Elizabeth Ettridge has been selected to the 2017-2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® One Women’s At-Large Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A three-time All-MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse selection, Ettridge is making her first appearance on the CoSIDA Academic All-District® Team. The Marshfield, Massachusetts product tallied 67 goals and nine assists for 76 points in 2018 to go along with 27 ground balls, 62 draw controls and 19 caused turnovers. She led the MASCAC in goals and ranked fifth in scoring and eighth in draws.

In 56 games over her first three seasons, Ettridge has amassed 148 goals and 37 assists for 185 points. She is currently tenth all-time at BSU in goals.

Academically, the secondary education and history major has maintained a stellar 3.975 grade point average over her first three academic years and has been on the Dean’s List in every semester during her time at Bridgewater State. Ettridge is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma (student-athlete honor society) and a three-time member of the MASCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

When not on the field or in the classroom, Ettridge spends her time volunteering as a lacrosse coach for youth clinics in her hometown of Marshfield. In July, she will be volunteering at the All-In Lacrosse Clinic in Hingham. The proceeds of the clinic go to the “All In All The Time” Foundation, which provides financial relief to families of fallen Navy SEALs.

Earlier this month, Ettridge was named the Dr. Adrian Tinsley Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Bridgewater State Department of Athletics & Recreation.

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include student-athletes from eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. First Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with the Academic All-America® teams announced in June.
