Lindland, Page Named to All-MASCAC Women's Basketball Team

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior forward Jennie Lindland and junior forward Rhiana Page have been voted by the league's coaches to the 2016-2017 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference Team.

Lindland and Page each garnered All-MASCAC Second Team honors.

Lindland was a member of the All-MASCAC First Team last season, while Page is making her debut on the all-conference team.

In 26 games this season, Lindland averaged 10.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game. The Edgartown, Massachusetts product also shot 52% (113-218) from the field.

In her final collegiate game Lindland set the BSU single-game scoring record with 38 points in a MASCAC semifinal round setback to eventual tournament champion Westfield State University.

Lindland currently ranks third in the MASCAC in field goal percentage.

In 102 games over her four seasons at Bridgewater State, Lindland amassed 908 points, 397 rebounds, 104 assists, 69 blocked shots and 187 steals.

Page, who hails from Brookline, Massachusetts, averaged 10.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals over 26 games this season. She also shot 50% (118-235) from the floor.

Page ranks fifth among the MASCAC leaders in field goal percentage and is ninth in both made field goals and defensive rebounds (105).

In 71 games over her first three seasons at Bridgewater State, Page has accumulated 373 points, 234 rebounds, 63 assists, and 47 steals.

The BSU women's basketball team finished the 2016-2017 campaign with an overall record of 12-15. Seeded third in the MASCAC Tournament with a 6-6 conference record, the Bears posted a 71-60 opening round win over #6 Salem State University, before falling to second-seeded Westfield State in double overtime, 97-95, in the semifinals.
