Colleen Feeney Named MASCAC Co-Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fourth time this season and seventh time in the last two years, Bridgewater State College senior forward Colleen Feeney has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  Feeney shares this week's honor with Salem State College sophomore Danielle Jenkins.

Feeney was nothing but impressive in BSC's 76-55 win over Western New England College last week as she posted her tenth double-double of the season with 30 points and a career high 20 rebounds.  Feeney also recorded a career high 8 blocked shots and connected on 10 of 15 field goal attempts as well as 10 of 12 free throws.

Through 11 games this season the Providence, Rhode Island native is averaging 21.1 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.7 blocked shots per game.  She is also shooting 61% (88-for-145) from the floor and 77% (56-for-73) at the line.

Feeney currently ranks first in the MASCAC in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, field goal percentage and defensive rebounds (10.3 rpg). She is also second overall in free throw percentage and offensive rebounds (3.4 rpg).

Feeney is also ranked in the top 15 in all of Division III in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and field goal percentage.
