NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- In MASCAC women's basketball action this afternoon, seniors Caitlin and Colleen Feeney (Providence, RI) tallied 23 points apiece to lead the Bridgewater State College Bears to a convincing 76-45 victory over MCLA.
Caitlin Feeney connected on 8 of 11 field goal attempts and was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line. She registered 5 steals and posted her second double-double of the season as she pulled down 11 rebounds.
Colleen Feeney finished 6 of 10 from the floor and 11-for-12 from the charity stripe, and also pulled down 9 boards.
As a team, the Bears shot 43% (23-for-54) from the floor and 81% (26-for-32) from the free throw line. BSC registered 21 steals and forced 35 MCLA turnovers.
