Stewart was the first BSC runner across the line in a time of 27:09, setting a personal record on the UMass course by over a minute while placing 77th out of 225 varsity runners. Next across was freshman Lowell Chumsae (Shrewsbury, MA) in a time of 27:24, showing plenty of promise for the men of Bridgewater. Brian wasn't done yet. He continued to push over the last mile into 3rd place and held off some late challengers to the finish line. He was the lone Bear on the men's side achieving All MASCAC Conference Honors.
