WINNECONNE, Ky. -- Bridgewater State University junior Trevor Wysong finished 92nd out of a field of 280 runners at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships held at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday.

Wysong, who was making his second straight appearance at the national championship meet, covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 25:25.0. His showing at the meet is the third fastest time of the eleven Bears who have ran at the NCAA Championships. Former BSU standout harrier Stephen Wahome posted a time of 25:20.77 at the 2011 national championship meet, while Wysong recorded a time of 25:23.3 last season.

Senior Patrick Watson of Stevenson University (Md.) captured the individual title with a time of 24:13.9. Pomona-Pitzer (Calif.) won the team championship, while defending champion North Central College (Ill.) placed second and Williams College rounded out the top three teams.
