BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior Joseph Keough has been selected to the United State Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Cross Country All-Academic Team.
Keough, who hails from Walpole, Massachusetts, is one of 300 men’s harriers from across Division III and the only student-athlete from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) to earn the accolade.
In order to qualify for the honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and finish in the top 25% of their respective regional championship meet.
A history and secondary education major, Keough currently sports a 3.495 cumulative GPA. He placed 52nd out of a field of 416 runners at the Division III New England Cross Country Championships held this past November at Bowdoin College.
A multi-sport athlete, Keough also competes on the BSU indoor and outdor track & field teams.
