Men's Cross Country Places 13th at Conn. College Invitational

WATERFORD, Conn. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team placed 13th at the Connecticut College Invitational held on Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park.

Sophomore Trevor Wysong (Taunton, Mass.) was the Bears' top runner as he completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 26:39.9 to finish 48th out of a field of 282 runners.

Senior Justin Lucier (Attleboro, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 27:01.9 to place 73rd overall, while junior Joseph Keough (Walpole, Mass.) rounded out BSU's top three harriers with a time of 27:14.9 (86th place).

Grant O'Connor of RPI won the individual title with a time of 24:32.4. RPI placed first in the team standings followed by Middlebury College and host Conn. College.

After a week off, the Bears will compete at the MASCAC Championships hosted by Westfield State University on October 28th.
