Men's Cross Country Competes at Conn. College Invitational

WATERFORD, Conn. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team placed 15th at the Connecticut College Invitational held on Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park.

Sophomore Luke Devin (Westwood, Mass.) was the Bears' top runner as he completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 27:17 to finish 54th out of a field of 212 runners. Junior Mark Waller (Andover, Mass.) crossed the line in 28:11 to place 98th overall, while senior Dallas O'Brien (Mansfield, Mass.) rounded out BSU's top three harriers with a time of 28:19 (104th place).

Oja Sebastien of New York University won the individual title with a time of 25:42.  NYU placed first in the team standings followed by Coast Guard Academy and host Conn. College.

After a week off, the Bears will compete at the MASCAC Championships hosted by MCLA on November 1st.
