Men's Cross Country Places Sixth at RWU Invitational

BRISTOL, R.I. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team placed sixth at the Roger Williams Invitational held on Saturday at Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Sophomore Luke Devin (Westwood, Mass.) was the Bears' top runner as he covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 18:03.23.  Devin, making his BSU debut, finished 16th out of a field of 91 harriers.

Junior Mark Waller (Andover, Mass.) was next across the line for the Bears as he posted a time of 18:09.39 to place 18th overall.

Sophomore Justin Lucier (Attleboro, Mass.) finished 23rd (18:28.82), while freshman Joseph Kisamore (Attleboro, Mass.) followed in the 25th spot (18:38.34).  Freshman Jason Vieira (New Bedford, Mass.) came home 45th (19:19.76) and classmate James Terzian (Westwood, Mass.) was 51st overall (19:36.10).

After a weekend off, the Bears will compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 20th.
