Higgins Finishes 17th in 800-Meter Run at NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio -- Bridgewater State University junior Joshua Higgins (Fitchburg, Mass.) finished 17th in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run on Friday afternoon at the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Higgins posted a time of 1:54.40 in the 800 while competing out of a field of 20 student-athletes.

Higgins was making his second appearance at an NCAA championship meet as he placed 12th in the 800-meter run and ninth in the 4x400-meter relay at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
