Bain, Moore Compete in Javelin at NCAA Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Bridgewater State University junior Ryan Bain (Tewksbury, Mass.) and sophomore Joshua Moore (Cape May, N.J.) finished 11th and 16th, respectively, in the javelin on Thursday afternoon at the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Bain tossed the javelin 189 feet, 5.25 inches (57.74m), while Moore posted a mark of 181 feet, 9.25 inches (55.40m) while competing out of a field of 20 student-athletes. Both were making their debut at the NCAA Track & Field Championships.

On Friday afternoon (4:15 PM), BSU junior Joshua Higgins (Fitchburg, Mass.) will compete in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run. Higgins is seeded 15th.
