BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the third time this season, Bridgewater State University sophomore Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Wysong was a double winner in the 5,000-meter run and the 10,000-meter run at the MASCAC/New England Alliance Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held this past weekend at Bridgewater State. The Taunton, Massachusetts product posted times of 15:42.44 in the 5,000 and 32:28.57 in the 10,000 as he helped the BSU men's squad win both championship meets.
Wysong currently ranks eighth in New England in both the 5,000 and the 10,000.
Next weekend, Wysong and other qualifying members of the BSU men's outdoor track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships hosted by MIT.
