BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University sophomore Trevor Wysong has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
A native of Taunton, Massachusetts, Wysong recorded a career-best time of 14:55.66 in the 5,000-meter run to place fourth in the event this past weekend at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.
Wysong currently ranKs sixth in New England in the 5,000. He is also third in New England in the 10,000-meter run and 37th in all of Division III.
The outdoor season continues for the BSU men's track & field team on Friday when the Bears compete at the 11th Annual Eastern Invitational hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University.
