Cameron Williamson Named MASCAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University senior Cameron Williamson has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

A native of North Easton, Massachusetts, Williamson helped the Bears capture both the MASCAC and New England Alliance championships this past weekend as he won the MASCAC title in the triple jump with a career-best leap of 46 feet, nine inches (14.25m).

Williamson currently ranks sixth in New England in the triple jump and 22nd in all of Division III.

In upcoming action, qualifying members of the BSU men's indoor track & field team will compete at the Division III New England Championships held this coming Saturday at Middlebury College. Williamson will be competing in the triple jump at the meet.
