BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior Cameron Williamson (North Easton, Mass.) and sophomore Nick Johnson (Marstons Mills, Mass.) earned Division III All-New England honors as the U.S. Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) handed out its awards for the 2018 outdoor season.
The top five individuals in each event from the New England region earned All-New England distinction, in addition to each of the members of the region's top three relay teams.
Williamson garnered All-New England accolades in the triple jump, while Johnson was recognized for his performance in the discus throw.
Williamson wrapped up the 2018 outdoor season ranked 21st in all of Division III in the triple jump (47'7.25"/14.51m), while Johnson was ranked 39th in the discus (157'0"/47.86m).
This marks Williamson's third USTFCCCA All-New England honor and Johnson's first.
