BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Joshua Moore has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.
Moore captured top honors in the javelin at the 11th Annual Eastern Invitational this past weekend. The Cape May, New Jersey product recorded a season-best throw of 190 feet, eight inches (58.12m) to win the event.
Moore is currently ranked fifth in the New England in the javelin and 20th in all of Division III.
In upcoming action, the BSU outdoor track & field teams host the MASCAC/New England Alliance Championships on Saturday at Swenson Field.
