BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Michael Kotleski has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
A native of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, Kotleski captured top honors in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.07 seconds at the season-opening BSU Bears Invitational. He also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x100-meter relay which placed second at the meet with a time of 43.32 seconds.
Kotleski qualified for the Division III New England Championships in the 400-meter hurdles.
The BSU men's outdoor track & field team will be back in action on Saturday when the Bears compete at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic.
