CANTON, N.Y. -- Bridgewater State University senior Chris Perry (Attleboro, Mass.) placed 11th in the long jump on day one of the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at the Merrick-Pinkard Track & Field Complex on the campus of Saint Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

Perry posted a mark of 23 feet, 2.75 inches (7.08 meters). He entered the meet seeded fifth in the event.

The national championship meet continues on Friday and Saturday.

Junior Conor Murtagh (Walpole, Mass.) will compete in the preliminaries of the 110-meter high hurdles on Friday at 5:35 PM with the finals on Saturday afternoon at 2:05.

Senior Josh Goehring (Haverhill, Mass.) will race in the preliminaries of the 800-meter run on Friday evening at 7:00 with the finals slated for Saturday afternoon at 3:05.

Perry will compete in the triple jump on Saturday morning at 11:30.
