Men's Tennis Falls to Eastern Nazarene, 9-0

QUINCY, Mass.- The Eastern Nazarene College men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 victory over Bridgewater State University on Saturday afternoon at the ENC Tennis Courts.

The Lions improve to 16-3 on the season with the win while the Bears fall to 1-8 overall.

Eastern Nazarene swept the three doubles matches and each of the six singles flights.

Santiago Camero (Valencia, Venezuela) teamed with Henry Siercke (Hamburg, Germany) for an 8-0 win at first doubles. Camero also posted a 6-2, 6-0 decision over BSU senior Justin Haley (South Yarmouth, Mass.) in the top singles matchup.

Both teams open conference tournament play next week. Eastern Nazarene will host Roger Williams University in the semifinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference Tournament on Wednesday, May 2nd. Bridgewater State travels to UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday, May 1st for the quarterfinal round of  the Little East Conference tourament.
