BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Chris Anastasiades has been selected as the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Men's Swimmer of the Week.
Anastasiades placed first in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.98), 50 breaststroke (28.03) and 100 individual medley (55.57) to help lead the Bears' to a 138-132 victory over Clark University this past weekend at the Kneller Center Pool. The Wakefield, Massachusetts product was also part of the winning 200 medley relay squad (1:42.33) as he posted a 24.55 split in the butterfly.
Chris and the BSU swimming & diving teams return to the pool on Saturday, November 16th as the Bears host Gordon College at 2:00 PM.
