WALTHAM, Mass. -- The visiting Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 168-105 decision to Division II Bentley University on Thursday evening at the Dana Center Pool.
The host Falcons improve to 7-4 in dual meet competition, while the Bears fall to 1-9-1.
BSU junior Eric Ford (Oakville, Conn.) placed second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.66. Ford was also the third swimmer to touch the wall in the 200 breaststroke (2:32.00).
Senior Charlie MacDonald (Braintree, Mass.) finished third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.96.
Sophomore diver Brian Sheehan (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.) posted the second highest score in the three-meter diving competition with a total of 186.60 points. Sheehan also placed third on the one-meter board with a score of 194.90 points.
The Bears are back in action on Saturday afternoon at one when they travel to Eastern Connecticut State University for a tri-meet featuring Regis College and the host Warriors.
