Men's Swimming & Diving Falls to Clark, 149.5-113.5

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's swimming & diving team dropped a 149.5-113.5 decision to visiting Clark University on Saturday afternoon at the Moriarty Pool.

Sophomore Kyle Swardstrom (Brookline, Mass.) paced the host Bears as he placed first in both the 100 backstroke (56.86) and 200 backstroke (2:08.78) events.

Swardstrom also swam a leg on the winning 400 freestyle relay along with freshmen Charles Anderson (Avon, Conn.) and Hunter Goodrich (Stoughton, Mass.) and junior Matthew O'Brien (Whitman, Mass.).

Anderson added a victory in the 100 freestyle (52.51), while Goodrich was first to touch the wall in the 100 butterfly (59.47).

The Bears (0-3-1) return to the pool next Saturday afternoon when they travel to Gordon College for a one o'clock meet with the Fighting Scots.
