Nick Palantzas
Title: Assistant Coach

Nick Palantzas joined the Bridgewater State University soccer coaching staffs in the summer of 2018. Nick is a 1980 graduate of Eckerd College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Framingham State College in 1995.

Palantzas played two season on the Massasoit Community College men’s soccer team for two seasons, returned as the men’s soccer coach in 1981, winning two national championships, and became the director of athletics in 1993. He became vice president of Massasoit’s campus in Canton in 2008.

Palantzas went 334-87-24 in his 21-year coaching career at Massasoit and won back-to-back National Junior College Athletic Association titles in 1986 and 1987. As the director of athletics, Palantzas found himself maintaining six sports while other junior colleges in the region struggled to keep programs afloat because of dwindling numbers.
