Coach Eric Gomes is in his first season on the Bridgewater State College men's soccer coaching staff.  He is a native of Stoughton, Massachusetts where he played four years of varsity soccer at Stoughton High School.

Eric is a 2009 graduate of Merrimack College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in Business.  He helped the Warriors to a 2007 finals appearance in the Northeast 10 Conference Tournament and earned Second Team All-Northeast 10 honors in 2008.  Eric finished his career at Merrimack with 10 goals and three assists.

Prior to attending Merrimack, Coach Gomes spent one season on the Massasoit Community College men's soccer team and earned First Team All-New England honors in 2004.
