Men's Soccer Reports for Preseason Camp

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's soccer team began preparations for the 2018 season as over 40 players reported to preseason camp on Monday morning and hit the practice field for the first time later in the day.

Head Coach Brendan Adams' squad opens the 2018 campaign on Friday, August 31st when the Bears host Western New England University at six o'clock.

Six of the Bears' first seven games will take place at the friendly confines of Swenson Field including the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) opener against defending conference champion Salem State University on Saturday, September 15th (noon). 

Bridgewater State is ranked second in the MASCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll which was released today. The Bears received one first-place vote and totalled 40 points in the poll. The defending champion Vikings led all teams with 47 points and six first-place votes.
