BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University Renadi Durosier senior forward has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) GEICO Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week. GEICO is the proud sponsor of the MASCAC weekly awards program.
A native of Norwood, Massachusetts, Durosier recorded his first career hat trick in his first collegiate game in the Bears’ 8-2 MASCAC win over Fitchburg State University this past weekend at Swenson Field. The three-goal scoring outburst came in a span of less than 17 minutes.
Durosier is currently tied for the team lead in goals. He is also tied for seventh among the MASCAC goal scoring leaders.
The BSU men’s soccer team is presently 5-4 on the season and 1-2 in the MASCAC standings. The Bears travel to Roger Williams University on Wednesday evening for a seven o’clock non-conference game with the Hawks.
