BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman forward Emma Daly has been selected as the Little East Conference Field Hockey Rookie of the Week.
Daly potted two goals and an assist for five points in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears. The Foxborough, Massachusetts native scored her first two collegiate goals in a 6-0 Little East win over Salem State. She also added an assist in a 4-0 conference victory over Southern Maine.
The BSU field hockey team is currently a perfect 2-0 on the season and 2-0 in the Little East. The Bears host non-conference foe Wellesley College on Tuesday night at seven.
