Football Reports for Preseason Camp

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University football began preparation for the 2019 season as over 100 players reported to preseason camp on Friday morning and hit the practice field for the first time later in the afternoon.

Head Coach Joe Verria's Bears open the 2019 campaign on Saturday, September 7th when they host Morrisville State for a noontime non-conference game against the Mustangs.

Following a trip to St. John Fisher College on Saturday, September 14th (noon), the Bears open Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) play at home against rival Western Connecticut State University on Saturday, September 21st at 4:30 PM.

The 2019 Homecoming Game on Saturday, October 19th (4:00 PM) will feature MASCAC opponent UMass Dartmouth.

Once again, the season culminates with the annual Cranberry Bowl game against MASCAC rival Massachusetts Maritime Academy. The 41st version of the Cranberry Bowl will take place at Clean Harbors Stadium in Buzzards Bay on Saturday, November 16th at noon.
