BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior free safety Kyle Dance has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week.
A native of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, Dance recorded six tackles with five solo stops to go along with an interception and 45-yard return in the Bears' 30-29 season-opening win over Buffalo State College on Saturday. The interception thwarted a potential Buffalo State scoring drive late in the first half.
In 24 career games in a BSU uniform, Dance has amassed 121 tackles (105 solo), five interceptions and ten pass breakups.
