Wheaton College as the Lyons cruised to an 8-0 victory over host
Bridgewater State in non-conference baseball action at Alumni
Park.
With the win, Wheaton improves their record to 25-7 while the
Bears, losers of three straight, fall to 14-10.

loss on the mound for the Bears. In his first start of the season
Bonham (0-1) allowed seven runs (five earned) to go along with four
walks and two punchouts in five 2/3 innings of work.

3 1/3 innings.
Freshman Sean Munley (Trenton, NJ-DH) led Wheaton
going 3-for-4 with two RBI’s while Paul

double, he moved over on a sacrifice bunt and scored on a safety
squeeze by freshman Eric Laliberte (Nashua,
NH-1B).

3-0 advantage in favor of the visitors. Malaguti scored with the
bases loaded on a double-play ground ball that was misplayed in the
infield.
The Lyons broke the game open in the sixth, highlighted runs that
were plated by Munley and senior Jake Yagjian
