BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- On Sunday, April 30th, Bridgewater State University hosted the 23rd Annual South Sectional Aquatics Meet for Massachusetts Special Olympics at John J. Kelly Gymnasium and the Dr. Mary Jo Moriarty Pool.
The event featured 215 athletes from the around the area who participated in 25 swimming events such as the butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
It marked the 23rd consecutive year that Bridgewater State has hosted the event.
