Third Annual Crimson Pride Challenge Final Results

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Third Annual Crimson Pride Challenge (CPC) has come to a close and we are so excited to announce that this was our most successful year yet. The Crimson Pride Challenge is a social media driven giving campaign where all Varsity and Club sports teams compete against each other to raise funds for their specific programs.

This year’s challenge ran from October 16th to November 6th and brought in a record-setting number of total donors AND total donations. The Third Annual CPC brought in an astounding $51,081.12 from well over 500 donors. Not only did the challenge make history, we also beat our goal of $50,000!

This year we added three Mini-Challenges, one for each week of the campaign, to motivate our coaches and student-athletes. The result was more than we could have expected and Swimming & Diving, Women’s Basketball and Women’s Lacrosse all ended up taking home an additional monetary reward for their efforts.

Overall, the team with the highest per student-athlete total is crowned champion. Our Women’s Lacrosse team took home the title this year bringing in $591.71 per student, for a total of $11,834!

Congratulations to all winners, thank to everyone involved in planning the Third Annual Crimson Pride Challenge, and last but not least…THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS! Without our loyal BEAR fans, none of this would be possible!
