Fourth Annual Crimson Pride Challenge Final Results

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Fourth Annual Crimson Pride Challenge (CPC) has come to a close and was yet again an extremely successful fundraising campaign for the Bridgewater State University (MA) Athletics Program. The Crimson Pride Challenge is a social media driven giving campaign where all Varsity and Club sports teams compete against each other to raise funds for their specific programs.

This year’s challenge ran from October 15th through November 5th and brought in a record setting number of total donors. The Fourth Annual CPC brought in an impressive $45,799.24 from more than 722 donors in just three weeks.

This year we again added three Mini-Challenges, one for each week of the campaign, to motivate our coaches and student-athletes. Our Softball team brought in the most total donations in Week #1 earning them an extra $500 towards their teams overall total. The Women’s Lacrosse team received the largest total donation in Week #2 and they also brought in the most total donors in Week #3, earning them an extra $1,000 towards their total!

Overall, the team with the highest per student-athlete total is crowned champion. Our Women’s Lacrosse team took home the title for the second year in a row, bringing in $494.74 per student-athlete, for a total of $10,884.25! The Women’s Lacrosse team took home the grand prize of $5,000 making their total amount fundraised $15,884.25!

Thank to everyone involved in planning the Fourth Annual Crimson Pride Challenge, and last but not least…THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS! Without our loyal BEAR fans, none of this would be possible!
